The Perfect Work to Holiday Party Outfit Idea

Now that we're into December, the holiday party outfit brainstorming has begun.  Because figuring out what to wear to a holiday party can be quite a challenge, this week is all about holiday style from the office to the evening event!  Starting today, I'm teaming up with a lovely San Diego style blogger to bring you some fun holiday party outfit ideas.  This way, you'll have loads of holiday outfit inspiration!

My husband's holiday party for work happened to be last week and I wore this exact outfit.  I had to work all day, so I kept in mind that I wanted to wear something that was work appropriate but cute enough to hop on the streetcar to head over to his party later that evening.

What takes this look from work to holiday outfit? It's starting with a great base. This striped skirt was one of my favorite finds last year.  I've since worn it a hundred times and it makes the perfect wintery holiday party outfit striped skirt idea when it's paired with a faux fur vest. That's what gives the outfit a 'wintery' feel and easily takes the striped skirt from work to holiday party.
