The Perfect Lace Shorts for The Warmer Months

I am beyond excited to share a design & style series with my darling interior design friend Jessica of Oh I Design Blog.  Today I'm bringing you what I think is one of my favorite lace shorts outfit of all time!

Jess and I brainstormed and Google chatted over coffee, with her dog Bella in tow, and came up with a fabulous color inspired blog series called, Collected Color, Styled.  The basic concept of Collected Color, Styled is the she, an interior designer, and I, a wardrobe stylist & image consultant, use a similar color palette to create a color concept for the home and wardrobe.  Using a new color palette each series, Jess will show you ways to style your home and I'll provide you with style tips to create a fashionable outfit.  For our first round, I'm pairing together a great color combo, coral and cream, to create a warmer weather lace shorts outfit.

To create the lace shorts outfit, I used the coral color from the peaches and used them for my top & shoes.  For the cream, I used the lace in the shorts and accessorized with the green to create what I think is one of my favorite lace shorts outfit (that I actually wore all summer!).  In the mood for more summer style inspiration?  Check out my post on how to wear a tunic 2 ways!
