I recently invested in a wide leg crop jeans that I came across at Anthropologie.  I had been in search of a pair of non-skinny jeans (I already own a few) and was looking for a pair of casual, not-so-casual jeans that I could get away with wearing to work with wedges and then on the weekend with flats.  So when I came across the Pilcro wide leg crop jeans and tried them on, I really really like both the fit (they are cozyyyy) and the style.

Styling Wide Leg Crop Jeans for Fall

These Pilcro mid-rise wide leg crop jeans are great for anyone who is a bit conscious about their mid-section and who might not want a low rise.  I love a mid rise jean for me.  The cut sits just above my hips and below my belly button at a great place.  Mid rise jeans are perfect for ladies who love just the right amount of coverage without feeling too high-risey (I've tried those too and I'm still feeling a little meh' about them....more to cover on that later.)

The thing about jeans that I've tried to find over the years is that perfect mix of softness and cuteness (while remaining flattering).  And that's what I've found with these wide leg mid rise crop jeans.  The material is soft and yummy (you can thank Anthro for releasing their best line yet...) and are best worn with a shoe that has a lift of some sort (1" or more, I'd recommend).  I paired these wide leg crop jeans with an open shoulder top that is work appropriate for the office (I did wear this exact outfit last week as a matter of fact!)

If you're in need of some suggestions for how to wear wide leg crop jeans different ways here are three of my favorites.  I like mixing prints, so I paired my striped open shoulder top with my favorite leopard print heels.  Leopard + stripes are a great combo!  When the temps start to drop, the perfect pairing for wide leg jeans is with a striped turtleneck and loafers. You can also use the layering effect by pairing a crisp white top layered with a sleeveless vest.  The perfect fall blend!
