How to Style A Sleeveless Cape Coat
Today's style discussion? The sleeveless camel cape coat. Before it does reach those supremely cold temperatures, I am managing to squeeze in some of my end-of-fall outfits. One of those said outfit pieces is the sleeveless camel cape coat.

The Sleeveless Camel Cape Coat to Wear During the Winter Months
I bought this camel colored sleeveless cape coat last month and have worn it over 5 times already. Other than the super affordable price point at $34 dollars, this cape coat can be worn in a few different ways, which is why I've worn it to work, out to an evening event, and shopping for groceries!
Right before moving to Toronto, I wrote a few posts about what to wear in cold weather climates while still maintaining your style. And then I moved to Toronto. Oh, haha. Imagination met reality like a kick in the pants. Boy oh boy, has my fall and cold weather style opinion changed! It's not that I didn't know what I thought would look cute. It's just that what I thought looked stylish and what actually kept me warm really didn't add up! Now that we've been here for our fourth season, I'm a bit smarter about what to layer with, and I've learned to try not to compromise with warmth!
If you've been a bit confused on the topic of how to wear a cape coat, I've got you covered. One sure-fire way to make it look less frumpy is to belt it, cutely I might add, by tucking the extra strap over and under the cape coat. If you don't want to do that, wearing it loosely over a wool sweater (when it's cold) or a top, or dress, when the weather warms up, will make this a long-lasting, versatile piece in your closet! I say that from experience, given that these are a few different ways I've already worn my sleeveless camel cape coat.
