Turning Canvas into Clothing
Photography | Koko Photo
A few months back, I started working for the lovely Tiffany Pratt over at her Glitter Studio. She had just launched her canvas collection and I was chatting it up about style. We came up with a fun idea to style a piece from her canvas collection into a fall outfit. Without further adieu, here is the Canvas Collection Hustle Vest turned into an outfit by Art in the Find Styling.
A brief but awesome background on Tiffany's Canvas Collection? Tiffany is an artist and loves to get messy in the best way that an artist does. But she ran into a problem of not being able to keep up with the replacement of all of her smocks and clothes after creating in them. Thus, the fabulous collection of canvas-turn-smocks was born! The idea is that you can wear, work in, store fabulous creative goodies in the pockets, wipe your hands all over her outfit, and best of all, throw it into the wash, and it's brand new again.
One of my favorite pieces of the canvas collection is the hustle vest (I mean the name says it all!!). Tiff and I agreed that this was the best option for me to style. Why? Because I love to hustle and I thought this would be perfect to layer with things. The hustle dress gave me the freedom to throw on a great fall sweater, throw a collared top on underneath, and even belt it to create it figure. Did you see it on the 365 days of style tips?
Head over to Tiff's page and check out her super cool canvas collection and then pop over to my instagram and join me for #TodaysStyleTip! You can shop the hustle vest and the pieces I layered with it!
