Christmas Brunch Ideas for the Holiday
I'm excited to share some Christmas brunch ideas with you to give you some inspiration for hosting a gathering this season. Hosting a holiday brunch is the perfect way to bring together the people you love and enjoy some merriment and great food all in one place.
CHRISTMAS BRUNCH IDEAS
The holidays have arrived and with it a flurry of holiday festivities. If it's one thing that makes a holiday merrier, it's hosting a Christmas brunch. But where do you start? What Christmas brunch ideas are worth putting together to make it a great afternoon? Some inspirational ideas and tips for your holiday party are just what you need to bring it all together.
DECORATE WITH HOLIDAY WREATHS
This fabulous DIY Wreath idea from Jones Design Company is a great way to bring festive elements into a room. You can hang one on the entry way door or on the wall near the brunch table as the holiday centerpiece. If a DIY holiday wreath isn't quite your thing, you can purchase a boxwood wreath from your local market (Trader Joe's always has them during the holidays) and add a festive ribbon tied in a bow.
SET THE TABLE WITH A UNIQUE COLOR THEME
Choose three to four colors that work well together. You can pull ideas from Pinterest, which is always a great source of inspiration. For this Christmas brunch the colors teal, black, white, and gold were used to create the table setting. The best Christmas brunch ideas come together when you work with untraditional colors that still add a festive element but don't scream, red and gold!
SERVE A FESTIVE SIGNATURE DRINK
Have a festive holiday cocktail on hand for guests as they arrive. Set up the entry way table with a tray of cocktails, using this pomegranate champagne cocktail recipe or a cotton candy cocktail recipe for your guests will. Decorate the glassware with skewers of cranberries to add holiday color to the glass!
CREATE A FESTIVE MENU
One of the best parts about a Christmas brunch is creating a menu based around your favorite breakfast items. This can include preparing your favorite dish in the morning and popping it in the oven when your guests arrive. If you have a favorite holiday recipe from your grandmother or friend, add that to the menu too. Brunch menus don't have to be perfect, they just have to be fun!
ADD FESTIVE TOUCHES FOR YOUR GUESTS
Invite your guests to take part in decorating the tree as a festive Christmas brunch idea. You can include ornaments that guests can take home as a treat at the end of the brunch. Ornaments are always a great take-away during the holiday. They're portable and meaningful too!
