How to Elevate a Pair of Jeans with the Right Top
Jeans are the one universal piece of clothing that almost every woman I know owns. Whether dark wash or light, black jeans, or acid wash, we women stick to our jeans. So how do you elevate your outfit if you want to step out in jeans without looking blah? One simple method is with a great looking top.

Elevate Your Jeans with a Great Looking Top
Not that you can't step out on the town in stripes, belieeeeeeve me I do it all the time! But every now and again, it's time to add a little pizazz to them jeans, ladies. I'm all about making sure you've got a lot of great basic pieces in your closet. The ones that you'll always depend on in those "oh what do I dare wear today" situations. However, I also believe that you should have a handful of "make you feel elevated" type of tops too. Those are the type of tops that you just might purchase in the likely event that you want to up it a notch.
Let's say it's not a "I've got to go to the gym day" and not quite the "I've got to look dressed up for work day" either. So maybe you're meeting up for a casual coffee date or a mom/kid play date outing. What type of top/outfit do you turn to in that scenario? That's right, the ole' great looking top, that's what.
So what makes for a great looking (and great fitting) top? For me it's how it fits in the arms and how it fits at the hips. I don't like a top that I have to fuss a lot with when I'm on the go. I love the arm length of this top, just below my elbows. I feels just right and really, really comfortable. Ladies who are conscious of the arms, this top is perfect for you! Next, I love a top that sits right at the widest part of my hips. When a top sits right there, at those hippy hips, it creates elongation and who doesn't want that?! Am I right?? This great fitting top is, by the way, $47 bucks, so there's no worry that I'm not going to splurge or not get my money's worth.
