Jenni Kayne Outfit Favorites

Last year, I was honored to become an ambassador for Jenni Kayne, a brand I truly love. My journey with Jenni Kayne started a few years ago, when I made a purchase of a sleeveless black top, which at the time was honestly one of the only pieces I was able to afford. To this day, I still have that top and take great pride in caring for it. That to me is the meaning of a great brand relationship and a great forever piece. Since that time, I’ve been able to try more pieces from the brand and am highlighting some of my favorites.

If there was one category I would say is worth focusing for the brand when it comes to foundational pieces, it would be Jenni Kayne sweaters. From cardigans, to hoodies, to crewnecks, cashmere to cotton, there is a beautiful array of sweater basics that will last forever. One crew neck sweater that is my absolute favorite are the Eco boyfriend sweater, which I’m wearing here. I find that even after a few wears, it doesn’t pill, which is often the case with a few of the JK sweaters over time. Pair this with one of your favorite pairs of denim and a mule and it’s the most simple, everyday outfit with just the right amount of polish.

Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan

Another favorite of mine is the Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan, which is the perfect staple for San Diego in fall, winter, and spring. I’ve worn this too many times to count and it is one of the softest cardigans I own. I love that you can dress this up with kitten heels or a d’orsay flat, tennis shoes + jeans.

Cabin Sweater

If you’re more of a v-neck sweater type gal, the cabin sweater is a beautiful option. This is an oversized fitting sweater, so size down if you want it to be not quite so oversized. I sized down and I love it. I have the alpaca cabin sweater in dusty rose and it’s extremely soft. I typically pair it with a white tee underneath but you can opt to wear it alone. I styled it a few ways in an IGTV style video if you wanted to see it paired with skirts, jeans, and more overall ideas.

Cotton or Cashmere Fisherman Sweater

The fisherman sweater is a great basic! Cashmere for fall/winter, cotton for spring/summer or year round. I usually pair it alone with overalls, wide leg crops, or even a slip skirt! It’s one of my top recommendations for anyone who wants a Jenni Kayne starter piece.

SHOES

Mules

These days comfort is key when it comes to any of my shoes. I’ve been finding that I’m investing in more flats than heels these days which is great because the options seem endless to me. When I tried my first pair of Jenni Kayne mules, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and versatile they were. Now, they are my go-to mules and I highly recommend them. They are a higher price point and if you aren’t able to buy new (you can always use my code CONNI15 for 15% off anything site wide) you can try to source them secondhand online at places like the RealReal or Poshmark.
