There is nothing I love more than pairing a striped top with a colorful skirt for work.  Work outfits don't always have to be so drab!  Mix them up with colors and complimentary patterns.  Florals and stripes are a great mix, if you're not sure where to start.  That's the benefit to a striped top, you can pair it with just about anything.
