Your Must Have Style Guide for Fall
Having just spent an entire dreamy month studying in Paris, a lot of style reflection has taken place. When I first arrived in Paris, I imagined being surrounded by throngs of stylish Parisian women (after all, there was haute couture fashion week the second week I arrived!). I felt that would either leave me sublimely intimidated or miraculously and instantaneously ultra-stylish. Somewhere in the middle I fell which inspired me to create fall fashion trends to try this fall.
Fall Fashion Trends to Try
What did happen, over copious amounts of Café crèmes, meet-ups with Parisian friends, and tremendous amounts of style observations, was that I began to form a sort of mental Parisian style list. This mental style list contained what I saw, heard, and confirmed about Parisian style over the course of my 30+ days in Paris.
The thing about Parisian style is that I heard so much about it existing everywhere in Paris. There are books and books about Parisian style (most of which I adore). And friend, it is there. But I have to tell you, you have to do some digging. Plan on lots of people watching, hanging out in particular arrondissements, and really examining it closely. And it is there, after close examination, that you begin to suss out true Parisian style. And that's how I created this first fall lookbook, based off of the many themes that resonated with me after a lot of style observations. Here were the overarching themes.
