5 One Piece Outfits That'll Have You Ready in Under 30 Minutes
Most mornings I begrudgingly wake up. I'm just not a tried and true morning riser. Try as I might, I always, always run behind. One reason is that I just run. s.l.o.w.e.r in the morning. Maybe it's because I'm also trying to multi-task (i.e. emptying out the dishwasher, while making coffee, at the same time trying to finish blow-drying my hair). Anyone else run their mornings this way?
5 One Piece Outfit Ideas that'll Have You Out The Door in A Flash!
That being said, one of the challenges in addition to my morning multitasking, is pulling together a great outfit without wasting a lot of time. I mean, what lady-friend out there doesn't want to pull it together in 5 minutes or less? The struggle is real folks. I certainly want to waste less time worrying about my outfit piece-by-piece and grab a few one-piece outfits to fall back on, for those mornings when I can't seem to pull it together in time! (most mornings for me....)
With that morning challenge looming what better way to make it easy to get ready in the morning than with one piece outfits? One piece outfits are out there, you may even own a few. All you need is the inspiration & idea generation to get your closet party rocking again, am I right? When pulling together what you're wearing this week, here are 5 one piece outfits to help you get ready in a flash!
1 | Overalls
Yes, you read that right. Overalls. They are back in action ladies and gents, and back in style. Granted, the weather in Toronto still needs to warm up a bit to be rocking these babies to work, but come spring, it's culotte overalls with everything! Have a pair? Grab a striped skirt and floral heels and voila!
2 | Shirtdresses
Shirt dresses are the perfect work-weekend-dressy-or-casual-piece. I cannot recommend shirt dresses enough. They are so so versatile and are worth the purchase. Pair it with a denim jacket and lace up flats and you've got a complete one piece outfit in under 5 minutes!
3 | Jumpsuits and Rompers
Think, updated pantsuit in wrapped in a stylish one piece.
4 | Shift Dresses and Jumpers
Different from the jumpsuit, a jumper is a one-piece sleeveless dress that you can pull on over a top (in a cooler office setting) or throw a cardigan over it and wear as a spring piece.
5 | Drop Waist Dresses
The unsung heros in the dress world, drop waist dresses add a little flair to the otherwise plain dress. This one piece is one of my favorite spring pieces. Pair with booties or flats and a cropped jacket or long trench coat and out the door you go!
What is your favorite of the one piece outfits you'd like to give a try this spring?
