Putting Together the Perfect Spring Outfit
I absolutely adore a gingham print dress. It's one of the most playful prints that both men and women can get away with wearing! I wear gingham all throughout the year but find that when the temps turn upward, I most definitely wear the print a whole lot more. This darling pink gingham dress is perfect for a spring wardrobe piece.
Adding a Pink Gingham Dress to Your Wardrobe This Spring
When this pink gingham dress came out, I immediately felt that this was a dress I could style a couple of different ways, with flats or heels, therefore making it a piece that was worth the price. (It comes in blue too..)
Last week when I wrote about 5 one-piece outfits, dresses were in the mix. One of the easiest ways to style a dress like this pink gingham dress is by throwing on your favorite jacket. Jean jackets happen to be one of my favs, so throwing it on creates an immediate outfit I can wear to work. This season, while figuring out which pieces to mix and match, throw some gingham into the mix!

Here are some other fun tips for spring pieces worth adding to your closet
1 | Midi Skirts | Oh, the love I have for midi skirts runs deep. I love them in winter, summer, and fall too. But spring brings a freshness, a brightness, and lots of floral patterns to this classic spring trend.
2 | White jeans | I’ve never been one to follow the, ‘Don’t white after Labor Day’ mantra only because what constitutes the official after Labor Day rule? Only September? September – December? I’d like to think it’s okay to rock them year round. With that being said, I do love breaking them out more when spring rolls around because there is a freshness to them when paired with that classic wardrobe staple, like a striped top, and my ever-loving-favorite, the jean jacket (which I’ll talk more about momentarily).
3 | Floral | As with midi skirts, florals are the perfect addition to the spring outfits. As evidence on social media, flowers are popping up everywhere and really, who gets tired of flowers?? A floral midi skirt or floral dress is just the right amount of spring
4 | Pops of Color | Be not afraid of color! Everything from pastel mint to bright sunny yellow goes during spring. I love to mix a beautiful mint cashmere sweater with a bright yellow tote.
5 | Jean Jacket | There is so much I could write about how versatile and fabulous a jean jacket is to have in your closet. You can layer them with jeans or pair them with skirts and dresses. I used a jean jacket in my outfit selections twice because I believe in it that much as a wardrobe staple.
